Bayside’s New Album To Come Out August 19th + Early Streaming

Bayside’s anticipated album, Vacancy comes out August 19th. However, it can be streamed right here and now, exclusively through Apple Music.

Bayside frontman Anthony Raneri explains that this record deals more with what is actually happening to him in his life, rather than just focusing on failing relationships/heartbreak, which seems to be an endlessly present trend in music. The album was written after a family move from Nashville ended with Raneri divorced and living in a motel. Very tragic, if you ask me.

Raneri states, “When I was writing for this record, I felt like a transient and I think writing Vacancy really helped me work through an experience I had never prepared for, let alone planned on.” I can’t even begin to relate to such a devastating circumstance. Now, whenever I don’t get messaged back on Tinder and feel like my world is going to fall apart, I’ll remember that people have gone through worse – WAY worse. Either way, the sheer and raw emotion put into this record is very refreshing. You all better check it out!

Pre-order Vacancy here.
