Featuring performances from Partybaby, Teenage Wrist, and plenty of others, the highly acclaimed Emo Night LA is set to take over The Echo and the Echoplex June 7th for Taking Back Tuesday. Since expanding to two venues, the monthly Emo Night LA has featured performances from Olivver The Kid, Tennis System and Cologne among countless others.
A project started by three friends and born out of mutual admiration for groups such as Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, Saves the Day, New Found Glory, Jets to Brazil, and other figureheads of the emo genre.
Originally designed to pay reverence to a time period marked by skinny jeans, Myspace, and unadulterated vulnerability in musical expression, the event has now expanded into branded merchandise as well as collaborations with OBEY clothing and Stay Home Club.
Specific acclaim has come from publications including Billboard, Rolling Stone, LA Times, LA Weekly, Time Out LA, Alternative Press, FUSE, HelloGiggles and others. After the LA show, Emo Night will set out on a series of tour dates, which can be found below.
