Philadelphia-based punk group Modern Baseball, in anticipation of their upcoming summer tour, has announced a help hotline for fans to call or text if they are feeling unsafe at any time. To promote awareness, the group has teamed up with Screaming Eagles singer Marissa Paternoster and artist Perry Shall to create an animated video to showcase the importance of fan safety and comfort throughout the tour. The hotline video can be viewed below.
Holy Ghost, the group’s most recent LP, is their highest charting release to date, topping at #53 in the Billboard 200 as well as #1 on the Vinyl Albums chart, #20 on the Top Current Albums, #5 on the Independent Albums and #3 on the Current Alternative Albums chart. Additional praise has also come from a number of publications, including The New York Times, NPR, Pitchfork, Boston Globe, Stereogum, The Guardian, Consequence of Sound, Alternative Press, AV Club, as well as SPIN, among others.
