Tiny Moving Parts Share New Track “Common Cold” & Announce Tour, New EP Out May 20th

A product of the land of 10,000 lakes and a group that NPR has called “Wide-swinging pop-punk…with some wily finger-tapping,” Tiny Moving Parts have become the subject of increasingly significant praise and exposure. Their newest track “Common Cold” is sure to continue this upward trend, streaming now from their newest EP Celebrate, due out May 20th.

Tiny Moving Parts’ newest effort rebels against its moniker, providing a more focused and singular sound without running the risk of becoming pigeonholed. The track, which features Foxing’s Connor Murphy, can be streamed below.

Celebrate can be pre-ordered via Triple Crown Records in the US and by way of Big Scary Monsters in Europe. The outfit will embark on a tour throughout North America and Europe along with the groups Prawn and Free Throw in the states, and The Fall of Troy in Europe. A list of dates is provided below and tickets can be purchased here

Tiny Moving Parts’ relationship with Triple Crown records began in 2014, in the wake of their widely publicized and acclaimed debut release This Couch Is Long & Full Of Friendship. The LP Pleasant Living was the first outcome of their hopefully long relationship with Triple Crown, and their upcoming EP represents a band that has been through quite a bit and is eager to show what they’ve learned throughout. Providing a sound both well-aged and focused, the band has to say of Celebrate, “Celebrate is really about optimism. Things get stressful throughout life, and you just need to stay positive or you’ll destroy yourself.” A confirmed tracklist as well as album art is provided below.
