Previously reported, New York City songstress Saniyé ingeniously weaved together jazz and pop with her style of music–and now she’s come out with a new Clockwork Orange- inspired video for her song “Man Outta You.” This single comes off her highly anticipated debut album Let’s Play, which is due out June 24th via 6/8 Records.
Take a look at Saniyé’s new video here:
“The music video was directed by the talented Drew Wilson at Smash Studios, in New York City. We wanted to have a smoky, seductive vibe, just like the song. The woman in the video is a sultry, mischievous, and mysterious character. She’s the dealer, the heartbreaker, the teacher, the lover, the risk-taker, the rule breaker, the tease, the gambler… all at once. Boy, I really had a fun time playing all those characters. It was my idea to draw inspiration from Stanley Kubrick’s A Clockwork Orange, and that’s exactly what I did when I played the dealer,” shares Saniyé on her new music video.
