Last week I had the pleasure of photographing two-piece band ’68 at Spark Contemporary Gallery. The show began with locals Caverns and The Afro Nips- followed by experimental indie-rock quintet and tour-mates Idlehands.
It’s been quite a while since I’ve photographed a show at a DIY venue, but ’68 filled the place. The ex-The Chariot/Norma Jean vocalist Josh Scogin and drummer Michael McClellan killed it from start to finish playing songs off their album In Humor and Sadness.
Though their tour with Idlehands has since ended, Catch ’68 on tour with Being As An Ocean during the month of April and Bring Me The Horizon in May. I wouldn’t sleep on this band, this was definitely one of my favorite shows I’ve photographed so far this year.
