Lissie Announced As SXSW Official Showcasing Artist

unnamedFolk singer and activist Lissie was announced as one of SXSW’s official showcasing artists

In support of her International Woman’s Day campaign, Lissie recently appeared on CNN International to discuss her partnership with charity: water and perform the song that inspired it all, “Daughters.”
Lissie teamed up with Glamour to premiere her new music video for “Daughters,” which features footage from several charity: water projects from around the world! “Daughters” is now available for ‘pay what you want‘ purchase through March 15th, with proceeds donated to charity: water. Lissie is partnering up charity: water in support of International Women’s Dayto raise awareness surrounding the non-profit’s mission to bring clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations.
