Lights to Release New Acoustic Album Along With Tour

Electro-pop sensation Lights is set to release Midnight Machines, consisting of six special acoustic versions of songs off of her third album, Little Machines (released September 2014), plus two brand new songs. It is set to be released April 8 and can be pre-ordered today from her website (link below). The lead single off Midnight Machines is an acoustic version of “Meteorites.” Check out the new video for the song, in which she had to learn the song backwards and sped up to “create the slow surreality of the shots” right below!

According to Lights, Midnight Machines is “a complete reinvention of some of the songs from Little Machines” with an “ultra vibey, late night version” of the songs. This album will continue her tradition of reinterpreting her electronic songs to breathe new life with an acoustic and string quartet arrangement.
