Australian group, Hands Like Houses, have been working towards the February 26th release of their third studio album, Dissonants.
In their most recent effort, Hands Like Houses worked with Megan Thompson and Billboard to release a music video for their new single, “Colourblind.” Dissonants was produced by James Paul Wisner (Paramore, Underoath), and features twelve massive anthems, which listeners should seriously be gearing up for.
Fans can pre-order the album now at iTunes (w/instant download of “Colourblind”).
“It feels damned good to get this one out – even more so, with such a sweet video by our dear friend Megan Thompson,” says singer Trenton Woodley. “”Colourblind” is about our cultural obsession with binary ideas – black and white, or politically left or right, for or against, right or wrong. We’re so caught up in black, white and the infinite shades of grey we forget that colour is in everything. Oh and yes, there is a ‘u’ in “Colourblind.” We’re Australian.”
Halfbeat readers should keep an eye out for an upcoming review of Hands Like Houses album, Dissonants, in the near future!
