Pinegrove Release New Song and Announce Record

Run For Cover Records band, Pinegrove, have released a new song titled “Old Friends” off their forthcoming album Cardinal.  Throughout the years, Pinegrove has morphed through many phases all while remaining centered around Evan Stephens Hall’s emotional songwriting and heavy lyrics. “Old Friends,” described to be almost Taylor Swiftian at points, is a American rock influenced song with a companion track called “New Friends,” which is set to tie the whole album together.  While “Old” is about the connections we make to our past and the friends that already exist, “New” is about being thrown into socializing and making new friends. Both songs in addition to the rest of the album seek to answer the question, “How come every outcome’s such a comedown?”
