Philly’s own Radio 104.5 threw yet another successful block party over the weekend. Once again they brought in a huge crowd eager to see their favorite bands. A very talented band by the name of Good Old War set the tone and opened the show with a great set.
Following Good Old Way, Joywave came out and brought the house down making everyone dance and vibe along with each other. The Front Bottoms drew in a big audience of “emo kids” willing to crowd surf and have a great time. They even announced that they have added a Philly show to their current tour to happen on November 28th, making everything extremely excited. The Wombats also put on a great show which many people were eager to see.
Panic! At The Disco was the final block party headliner. Brendan Urie puts forth so much energy on stage and the audience feeds off of that making for a really exciting show. Playing their hits along with newer songs such as “Miss Jackson” and “Hallelujah” their setlist was perfect for the occasion. This final block party was pulled off perfectly, and was a great way to end the summer concert series.
