Motion City Soundtrack Shares VIdeo for “Lose Control”

Last week, Motion City Soundtrack shared their new video for “Lose Control” at the AV Club. This track is off of the bands sixth studio album, Panic Stations, which will be out September 18th via Epitaph Records. Directed by Dan Huiting (Bon Iver, Sylvan Esso, Colin Stetson), he showcases lead singer, Justin Pierre, who discovers that all that he touches, he has the power to kill. Huiting even stated “…It was really nice to collaborate with Justin on this, who has a really good sensibility about filmmaking in general.” Fans can watch the video now at the AV Club: “Lose Control”.

Panic Stations, produced by John Agnello, was named for the nautical structures that act as warning posts in oceans. A handful of songs on the record refer to the water and the ocean to lead to the overarching idea of letting something go and not drowning in your own thoughts. Pre-orders are now available for the album on CD and vinyl here or on iTunes. Motion City Soundtrack will also be co-headlining a tour this fall with The Wonder Years and special guests State Champs and You Blew It! Tickets are on sale now, check out the dates below.
