4th ‘N Goal “Turn On The Light” EP Review

Can you ever go wrong with pop punk? 4th ‘N Goal comes all the way from Milano, Italy. Yes, Italy. A group of 6 guys with their trademarks in an easygoing attitude and love for pizza. Lucky for them, they have already shared the stage with huge names in the business such as: Four Year Strong, Set Your Goals, Polar Bear Club, Attack! Attack! and many more. Their newest EP Turn On The Light drops tomorrow and let me say, it is a perfect six song mix for the upcoming summer months.

The band was born in 09 and since then have been producing bouncy punk pop tunes that have allowed them to thrive tremendously. In the past they have played shows such as the Punk Rock Holiday 2013 Festival and then that fall along side The Story So Far and The Wonder Years. Last year they were featured on Vans Warped Tour as the first italian band to ever play. Now with their new EP Turn On The Light, produced and mixed by Andrea Fusini at Fusix studioscoming to the surface, it is full of easycore rock vibes. 10451892_843906342312756_8697944386672533011_n

Honestly it is hard to recognize their italian roots, but they definitely have a interesting flare that sets them apart from all the other pop/punk bands in the scene.  My personal favorite “Turn On The Lights, Dude!” is full of rhythmic, clean guitar strums and a perfect repetitive chorus that stays in the head for hours. Also featured on the EP is “Drown”, the Bring Me The Horizon cover of which they made a parody video for which has received over 90,000 views on YouTube. In just a couple of weeks 4th ‘N Goal is at the top of easycore revival. For the remainder of the year the band will be touring in support of this release.
