Hit The Lights “Life On The Bottom” Video Premiere on ESPN

Late last week, Hit The Lights premiered a hard-hitting, interesting new video for the song “Life On The Bottom.” Kyle Thrash (Modern Baseball, RJD2) directed the video and highlighted boxer Ismael Villarreal as he trained and competed in his first fight for the Golden Gloves Tournament at the Barclays Center, Brooklyn, NY. There are so many unique things about this video and the whole idea of it all, it is hard to put it all in one specific phrase. Not only is an amazing athlete and boxer being showcased most artistically but Hit The Lights was able to capture exactly what they wanted to with their song as well. Vocalist Nick Thompson even says “When he approached us about the idea for a video centered around Ismael, we were totally on board. The song made sense with Ismael’s struggles and it’s great to be able to give him some limelight while we take the back seat!”

Along with this new video, Hit The Lights also most recently released their new album Summer Bones. They began the tour to showcase the album last week and will be hitting the road with Cartel to kick off the summer.
