The Bunny Gang has premiered their latest video for “Sirens Through The City” earlier this month on Alternative Press. Nathen Maxwell of Flogging Molly, started this side project and so far it has been moderately successful. Keeping with their consistent rebel music, this track comes from their most recent full length album Thrive and is worth the listen. The Bunny Gang puts out a rhythm combining sounds from punk to reggae to folk. Wanting to provoke your thoughts, this album puts out a philosophical and awakening outlook on everything.
“Sirens Through The City” was the first single to be released off of the album Thrive and follows the theme of creative expression through the video. Revolution is basically bleeding from the video as they take you back and forth through a black and white montage of art, protest, and the head-bobbing melody of the band members. Though the song has a powerful message about the world and the times we are living in, there’s also a hopeful message within the record too: Maxwell says “..it’s a song of hope and making it out of the ghetto and thriving. If people could dream bigger and step outside of their bubble, they’d realize the world is a beautiful place.” Be sure to check out the video in the link below and The Bunny Gang’s sophomore album Thrive out now!
