As a first time experiencing X Ambassadors I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect. After seeing this band perform live I must say that they are one of the best bands I’ve heard in recent times. As soon as they made their way to the stage, there was an instant connection with the audience. It was ambient. It was rock. And a most heartfelt performance. During the song ‘ Unsteady ‘ I look around and there are tears in the eyes of some of kids who made their way to the front. It’s really amazing to me that this kind of thing still happens, being so moved and feeling something so powerful through music that it can bring tears to the eyes of the listener. If X Ambassadors make their way to your city, make sure to see them. They will continue on with the Little Machines Tour alongside LIGHTS at these locations :

After a quick change over between sets the stage was prepared for LIGHTS
With her infectious smile and a welcoming roar from the crowd, she began her set with an ambient, alternate intro to the song Muscle Memory and with the flash of light the song kicked in and the party started. Playing a span of songs from each of her records ultimately made for an amazing set. She even played a stellar cover of The Cardigans – LoveFool. And with closing the set, LIGHTS performed an encore with her single ‘Up We Go’ and concluded the evening with ‘Oil and Water’.
