Earlier this year, The Maine announced the last 4 shows of the year and the last shows supporting their run of Forever Halloween. The five piece rock band sold out The Gramercy Theater in NYC and left them in complete awe. They took the stage as the venue fell silent. Illuminating only there white backdrop with the word “farewell”. The band entered the stage and as soon as John O’Callaghan stepped up to that microphone the crowd went insane. “Take What You Can Carry,” was up first for the night lights glowing a dim orange as the maraca and percussion rhythm echoed off the theaters walls. The crowd hopped in sync with the base line like a well trained machine. The army of fans chanting and screaming every lyric was surely the best way to send off the album. Be on the lookout next year for these guys! I have a feeling they’re going to be back and bigger then ever.
