Canadian rockers Theory of a Deadman made a pitstop on their Savages U.S. tour in New Jersey Wednesday night, October 8th. The show was presented by local radio stations WDHA and WRAT, whom introduced every band. Energy pulsed through Starland Ballroom like it was a Friday night, not a Wednesday. Anxious fans filled the room drinking, laughing, and having a great time. 3 Pill Morning of Minneapolis started off the night with a bang. The crowd loved them! (I was also impressed). They had great energy and got everyone ready for the rest of the bands.
Next up was FOZZY, Chris Jericho (a well known WWE superstar) fronts the band. He had a grand entrance just like in the WWE with his light up jacket. The rest of the band had very charismatic stage presence just like Jericho. Overall, the crowd loved them and hyped them up for Theory of a Deadman.
Around 10:00 Theory finally took the stage with what was the coolest stage set up I’ve ever seen in Starland Ballroom. The lights and designs were perfect. The crowd was wild and going crazy as Theory opened on their hit “So Happy”. The Savages tour was an amazing night for the rock community in New Jersey. Hopefully all of the bands come through again.
