Lights Doesn’t Go Home Without NYC

Seeing an artist like Lights, play for a crowd of maybe 200 people is a great feeling. Its intimate, its personal, its a whole different experience compared to a club show with a minimum of 1000 and various opening acts to go along with it. But last Tuesday, Lights was at the Hard Rock Cafe in NYC to celebrate her partnership with Pinktober global breast cancer awareness campaign.

Lights has just released her third album, Little Machinesout now on Warner Brothers Records. She is currently out touring supporting this album in Canada. US tour starts later this month, dates below.

Pinktober is a campaign that has supported The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and The Caron Keating Foundation for 15 years, and raised millions of dollars globally for breast cancer awareness and research. It mobilizes the rock and roll community and its patrons from around the world to join the fight against breast cancer through creative events.
