Linkin Park dropped by the Ventura Warped Tour date yesterday and played a surprise set with many surprises. After almost a week of rumors, the official Warped Tour twitter confirmed that they would in fact be playing Warped Tour on main stage. Linkin Park themselves confirmed it on their instagram a few hours afterwards.
Though many people around the U.S. alone were wishing they were in that crowd in California; the people that were actually in their crowd were in for a real treat. They opened with “One Step Closer” and Finch‘s Nate Barcalow came out with guest vocals. Then, they went into New Divide with Breathe Carolina‘s David Schmitt. After that, they played “Guilty all the Same” with The Devil Wears Prada‘s Mike Hranica and Jeremy DePoyster. “Faint” with Tyler Carter from Issues was next. Then, “What I’ve Done” with Yellowcard‘s Ryan Key. A Day to Remember‘s Jeremy McKinnon helped out during “A Place For My Head” and they wrapped up their set with “Bleed it Out” with Machine Gun Kelly. What an incredible surprise for all of their fans. The musicians that were involved will also never forget that once in a lifetime experience doing guest vocals for Linkin Park.
